Here's the thing, most people don't like how they look, don't like how they feel, can't actually commit to anything because they've been letting themselves down so long they don't even feel shame or guilt when it happens anymore. Endless streams of people on social media who look like Marvel movie heroes, lying about how they got their physique, promising that hard work and their 3-week program can make you look just like them. Every new year most people start at the gym and three weeks later they're thinking about cancelling because it's been 11 days since their last workout. Spring brings the motivation back briefly, no one want to wear a t-shirt by the pool or beach right? And then someone gets married, or there's a night out with friends, or you forgot to thaw the chicken so you're buying fast food for the family.
Here's a couple statistics:
According to the CDC as of 2020, 41.9% of all Americans are obese.
According to the CDC, over 20% of all Americans live with mental illness
If you fall into these categories
You are not alone. And there's something you can do about it.
If you're still reading this I know you want to make a change. Here's the beautiful thing about fitness, habits, and mental framing: It's all controlled by you. Motivation comes and goes but habits are hard to shake, just ask a cigarette smoker. You have the ability, you have a body that works and moves, you woke up this morning. All of this means you have the opportunity right now to make a choice to change your life for the better. Lots of folks will say "Do it for you", and I agree you need to be happy with who you see in the mirror. Do it for yourself and the people you love as well. Show the people you care about what it means to live a life of fulfillment, commitment, and happiness. Take the time to appreciate where you're at and where you're going. They say comparison is the thief of joy, but that's a lie. Comparison is just a measuring stick, letting you know where you stand next to others. It's how we view our differences that robs us of our joy. If you want to change then take steps every day, find joy in the process, and take back control of your life. This is where I come in, using scientifically backed methodology to set you up for long term success with health, nutrition, and mental framing (social media "gurus" who sell $500/month "coaching" ruined the word mindset).

"Thanks to Blake, this was the first time I've ever stuck to any sort of plan for weight loss because I enjoyed it and actually noticed results. I surprisingly found myself pushing myself instead of giving up when I had his support, which is definitely a first for me. He was always there to answer questions right away and give excellent explanations when needed to make sure I understood exactly what I was doing, even with the time zone difference between us. 10/10 recommend."
Katie won the New Year Challenge in 2024 and has dropped over 35 pounds in less than a year!
